About Keith Corey

Hi! My name is Keith Corey, I’m 17 years old, and this is my blog about tegu lizards. I’m a huge fan of these little creatures, and I wanted to create a space where others can learn more about them too.

In this blog, I’ll introduce tegus lizards and tell you a little bit about why I love them so much.

I first became interested in tegus when I was a kid. I remember the first time I saw one at the zoo and being completely mesmerized by its beauty and grace.

Ever since then, I have been hooked on these amazing creatures and have dedicated my life to learning more about them.

From their natural habitat in Central and South America to the care and feeding of captive tegus, I have studied extensively a variety of topics related to these fascinating creatures.

I also write about my own experiences with tegus (both good and bad!) as well as provide advice for anyone who is thinking of getting their own pet tegu.

My parents didn’t think it was a good idea at first, but now they understand my passion and are supportive of it as long as I keep Mr. Koko far, far away from them.

We live in Oklahoma, and on the weekends, I take Mr. Koko out for walks and let him explore our backyard.

He loves trying to catch bugs and digging around in the dirt! I don’t mind letting him roam free because he always comes back home when I call him. Also, he is big enough to be seen by other animals and people, so I make sure to take extra special care when he is out.

Mr. Koko is my best friend, and I am so happy to have him in my life. By sharing my story and experiences with tegus on this blog, I can help others learn more about these amazing creatures as well!

I hope you enjoy my blog and find it useful in your own journey of learning about tegus. Stay tuned for future posts in which I’ll cover topics like their care, feeding, breeding, and more! Thanks for reading!

Sincerely,

Keith Corey & Mr. Koko
